The Pioulou XL double-wall tent is an ideal choice for those seeking lightweight options without compromising comfort. It offers enough space to sleep, sit, and change without needing to step outside.
This Pioulou XL is designed for the tallest hikers, up to 2m00 high. It is 150cm high, which makes it very confortable but also needs an extension on your trekking pole to reach this height. You can also use two poles strapped together, or the optional carbon pole.

Fabric Options
Rainfly Fabric
We exclusively use high-quality double-coated sil/sil fabrics. Their tear resistance is excellent and the waterproofing is durable over time.
- Silnylon 7D 6.6 2,000 mm (27 g/m²): An ultra-light gem, very durable if taken care of.
- Silnylon 20D 3,000 mm (37 g/m²): An excellent compromise for a very light and resilient tent.
- Silpoly 20D 2,500 mm (42 g/m²): For those who want a light fabric that doesn't stretch in humidity.
- Silpoly 30D 3,500 mm (47 g/m²): An easy and sturdy fabric for a very reasonable weight.

Ground Fabrics
We use PU-coated fabrics for the ground: they slide very little and are highly resistant to puncturing and abrasion.
- Silpoly 20D PU 4,000 mm (50 g/m²): The ultra-light option but will require additional protection on aggressive grounds.
- Silnylon 30D PU 6,000 mm (72 g/m²): An excellent compromise for most users.
- Nylon 70D C0/PU 10,000 mm (90 g/m²): Maximum durability, can be used on virtually any ground without additional protection.
